Winner of the Apprentice 2011 is a Dyslexic inventor and entrepreneur

Learning Solutions joins with last night’s viewers of the final of the BBC show The Apprentice  in congratulating Tom Pellereau in becoming this year’s winner.  The prize of  this series is to go into business with Sir Alan who would be giving the financial  backing.

Duirng the after show -Your’e Hired ,Tom  who has already invented, patented and successfully taken to both English and American  markets  his own  product, a curved nail file, stated  that he was dyslexic and that inspite of the difficulties, he found it to be a positive attribute as it made him think in alternative ways,to visualise and ‘manipulate’ ideas in his head. This is a major  factor in  our Dyslexia programmes at LTS, using the sensory modalities, particularly the  kinaesthetic and visual right side to help to process information. (Think Einstein,Leonardo Da Vinci, who were reputedly dyslexic also).

We have long believed that it can produce creative thinkers  and to  end  this we are introducing a competition for budding young inventors.

We are looking for someone to come up with a multi -sensory device/aid to enable Dyslexics to read and process music through colour. You would need to have a musical background and /or some musical  knowledge. In turn we would help you to promote/ copywright/ patent and market that product via our business contacts.

If you are genuinely interested please E mail us on info@ltslearning.co.uk  with your contact details and a brief outline of your idea.
